Advanced Practice Institutes

Registration

Following the Wednesday lunch plenary, take advantage of one of the Advanced Practice Institutes that are being offered. Targeted to individuals who share a substantial interest and investment in a subject, Advanced Practice Institutes (APIs) will bring together groups of knowledgeable, experienced participants for intensive, high-level conversations. In an intimate forum, participants will join their equally seasoned colleagues for an exchange designed to deepen their understanding of a subject and its related practices, and to identify both near- and long-term challenges and opportunities in their work. The institutes are being developed and will be convened by leaders in the field, who themselves are eager to confer with peers. Although most sessions will incorporate some presentations, APIs will emphasize conversation and deliberation, calling on the expertise of everyone in the room. APIs are not envisioned as problem-solving or planning meetings. However, most probably participants will elect to follow up with individual or collaborative action based on the information and insights they gain.
