Melody BarnesMelody Barnes is Director of The White House Domestic Policy Council. She will be speaking at the Tuesday Luncheon Plenary.



G. Edward DeSeve, Senior Advisor, Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for Recovery Act Implementation and Special Advisor to President Barack Obama and Assistant to Vice President Joseph Biden, will be speaking at the Monday Luncheon Plenary, May 4.

Julia OrmondJulia Ormond is the founder and president of Alliance to Stop Slavery and End Trafficking (ASSET). She is a presenter at the session Slavery, Trafficking, and Globalization on Tuesday, May 5.

Mark CharendoffMark Charendoff is the President of the Jewish Funders Network (JFN), where he works with a number of Jewish organizations and foundations. He is speaking at the Lunch Plenary on Wednesday, May 6.

Beverly HallDr. Beverly L. Hall was named the National Superintendent of the Year by the American Association of School Administrators, the top professional honor for a K-12 education leader in the country, in February, 2009. Hall will present during the Site Session, Closing & Opening: Building the Pipeline for School and Family, on Tuesday, May 5.

Dave IsayDave Isay is the founder of StoryCorps and its parent company Sound Portraits Productions. Over the past two decades his radio documentary work has won nearly every award in broadcasting. Join his session, Telling Your Story with David Isay of Storycorps, on Monday, May 4.

Rory StewartRory Stewart, director of the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at Harvard University and author of The Places In Between about his personal trek across Afghanistan, will speak about Iraq and Afghanistan at the International Dinner on Sunday, May 3rd.

John LewisGeorgia Congressman John Lewis, chair of the Ways and Means Subcommittee on Oversight will speak at the Monday, May 4 lunch plenary.


Robert FranklinDr. Robert Franklin, president of historic Morehouse College, will be a presenter at the Monday, May 4 breakfast plenary.

 

Ken RothKenneth Roth, executive director of Human Rights Watch, will deliver the Van Leer Lecture on International Philanthropy, on Tuesday evening, May 5th. His topic will be "Global Human Rights Challenges and the New U.S. Administration: How Can President Obama Help."
